Blooming Author Visits
bring the excitement of literacy to your campus or event!
Being back in the classrooms, reading with kids and supporting teachers was the main drive behind creating Blooming Rose for mom and former elementary teacher, Lauren Piland.
Author visits are at no charge, and can be tailored for kids of all ages as read alouds for littles in preschool, to reading + comprehension activities for primary, to writing and publishing workshops for our junior highers.
The Blooming Books Podcast
The mission of Blooming Rose Kids is to spark hard conversations with our children in easy ways - through books! When we can entertain children of all ages in wondrous & relatable stories, engage their young minds, and model healthy behavior, we open a path to communication and understanding in a world where many children are struggling.
Our hope is for Blooming Rose to be more than just a children's book series, though. It was created to give parents and teachers real-life tools to help proactively and reactively support our kids' emotional & academic needs via our books, resources, and now, our newest venture, The Blooming Books podcast!
Beyond the Text Activities
Focusing on academic & social and emotional learning (SEL) exercises, our ready-to-use, curriculum-based materials will keep your kiddos engaged long after the story ends!
In addition to the ten, leveled bundle activities that coincide with every Blooming Rose book, we also boast an array of individual exercises for PreK through 4th grades, ranging from reading strategies, vocabulary building, writing prompts, and word mechanics, to STEM, SEL, games and more!

In this story I wanted to speak to the power music has to transform your mood & mindset. Rose & Brady express their excitement with a fun dance party early on, but later realize how to use calming songs to help in times of sadness or anxiety as well. Whether in times to uplift, or downplay, to sway or to swoon - you can bet there's a song for that!

Blooming Rose Chills Out!
our third title's rough draft and bundle are set to release in 2026!
In this story, Rose’s mom makes her and brother Rex begrudgingly take some time to relax and breathe through some yoga moves, which ends up being more fun and challenging than she thinks. Rose later finds herself in a sticky situation at a yogurt shop, and is able to use what she practiced to make for a sweet ending.
The delicious Beyond the Text Bundle of academic activities that goes along with this story has a yummy ice cream shop theme and includes a compare & contrast comprehension exercise and an illustrated kid’s yoga guide.
