The mission of Blooming Rose Kids is to spark hard conversations with our children in easy ways - through books!
When we can entertain children of all ages in wondrous & relatable stories, engage their young minds, and model healthy behavior, we open a path to communication and understanding in a world where many children are struggling.

In addition to the bundled activities that coincide with every Blooming Rose book, we've also created an array of individual exercises for PreK through 4th grades, ranging from reading strategies, vocabulary building, writing prompts, and word mechanics, to STEM, SEL, games and more!

In this story I wanted to speak to the power music has to transform your mood & mindset. Rose & Brady express their excitement with a fun dance party early on, but later realize how to use calming songs to help in times of sadness or anxiety as well. Whether in times to uplift, or downplay, to sway or to swoon - you can bet there's a tune for that!

Blooming Rose Chills Out!

In this story, Rose’s mom makes her and brother Rex begrudgingly take some time to relax and breathe through some yoga moves, which ends up being more fun and challenging than she thinks. Rose later finds herself in a sticky situation at a yogurt shop, and is able to use what she practiced to make for a sweet ending.
The delicious Beyond the Text Bundle of academic activities that goes along with this story has a yummy ice cream shop theme and includes a compare & contrast comprehension exercise and an illustrated kid’s yoga guide.
